THE KEY OF DAVID

Rev 3:7 “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia:
“” He who is holy and true, who holds the key of David, who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens.

KEY:
(Heb. Maftêaj) The key was also
of wood and had pegs which correspond to those of the lock.
When the inserted in the hole or groove, so lifting the pins
that could move the bar and the door opened. It turned into the hole,
but acted as a lever to lift the pins. The 1st mention of a
key in the Bible dates from the period of the judges (Judges 3:25). Apparently
some were large old that had to be carried over the shoulder (Isa.
22:22). Figuratively, the keys were symbols of authority.

As to bolt the verb translated “close” comes from naal, literally “bind (strips).” The doors
secured by pins or bolts of wood with leather straps or ropes.

DAVID: (<דָּוִד Hebrew, “beloved” or “the elect of God”; c. 1040-970 BC.)

2 nd Sam 6:12 When David told the king: “The Lord has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and everything he has because of the Ark of God” was moved with joy David and the Ark of God from the house of Obed -edom to the city of David.m 13 And when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed an ox and a fattened sheep.
14 David, wearing a linen ephod, danced n with all his might before the Lord. 15 Thus, with júbiloñ and trumpet sounds, David and all the house of Israel brought the Ark of the Lord.
16 When the Ark of the Lord came to the city of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD, she despised him in her heart.
They put 17 So the ark of the LORD, and put in place in the middle of the tent that David had pitched: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before Jehová.o 18 When David had finished offering the burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord of ejércitos.p 19 And he dealt among all the people and the whole multitude of Israel, both men and women, a loaf each, a piece of meat and cake of raisins.

So all the people departed every man to his house.
20 Then David returned to bless his household q and Michal met him and said:
– How glorious was the king of Israel, discovered today in front of the handmaids of his servants, as one discovers without honor either!
21 Then David said to Michal,
– It was before the LORD, who chose me in preference to your father and your whole house, to appoint as ruler over the people of Jehovah, over Israel. So play before the Lord. 22 And even humble myself this time, I stoop to your eyes, but I’ll be honest eyes of the handmaids of whom you spoke.
23 And Michal daughter of Saul had no child unto the day since his death.

DAVID IS THE KEY FOR plunging into WORSHIP GOD
1 Chronicles 9:33 are the singers, heads of families of the Levites, who lived in the rooms of the Temple, free from other services, for both day and night were in the work.
34 These were heads of families of the Levites by their generations, heads who lived in Jerusalem.

BEARERS OF THE KEY OF DAVID MYSTERIES ARE PROPHECY AND OPEN

Psalms

BEARERS OF OPEN AND CLOSE THE KEY DIMENSIONS

Mt 16:15 He asked them
– And who do you say I am?
16 Simon Peter answered and said:
– You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 Then Jesus said to him:
– Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and revealed to you, but My Father in heaven. 18 And I also say that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

CARRIERS ARE KEY WORSHIPERS, KINGS AND PRIESTS IN THEIR BACKING

Luke 10: 21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, “I thank thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent and hast revealed them unto babes. Yes, Father, for so it pleased you.

WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH IS THE KEY OF DAVID

John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him in spirit and in truth it is necessary to worship him.

1Ch 15:27 David I was dressed in fine linen, and all the Levites who carried the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah was master of the song the singers. David also wore upon him an ephod lino.ñ 28 Thus all Israel brought the ark of the covenant of the Lord, with joy and sound of horns, trumpets and cymbals, with psalteries and harps.

2 Chronicles 5:11 When the priests came out of the sanctuary (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, without regard to their distribution in turn), 12 the Levites, singers, all of Asaph, of Heman and of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps east of the altar. With them were a hundred and twenty priests sounding trumpets. 13 They did sound, then, the trumpet and sang in unison, praising and thanking the Lord. It happened that while they raised their voices to the sound of trumpets, cymbals and other musical instruments, and praised the Lord saying, “Because he’s good, because his mercy endureth for ever”, a cloud filled f House, home of Jehová.g 14 And the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.
